We have tried every recipe for a chocolate fruitcake(without nuts)hoping to replicate one we had we had a couple of times(over 30 years ago.) At the same time we searched the web for one to buy. This year we tried Cakethyme and YAY! The cake is perfect. It was dense, full of flavor and not overly sweet. Texture was wonderful. We were thrilled. Thank you.
It is soooo tasty! Everyone should try it out! The cake is so smooth flavor, very balance, not try, not too moist. Inside there are pieces of good quality chocolate and dry fruits. Accompanying with a cup of black tea, it would be my best afternoon time~~
The packaging is also very good. The design is simple but with is small gathering of fresh literature. The cake is so well protected by the box.
oh the cake is not that sweet - which is my style, I love it! If you would like very sweet one, maybe check with the customer service to see whether they could specifically bake one for you. LOL
